Virginia Cornish wrote more than 130 hymns, usually composing both words and music. This homepage was established to share some of them with you.

What Virginia liked most was to share her hymns and have people sing them, so please do! We ask only that you give her credit for them.
They were 'written to the glory of God who urges us to "Sing unto the Lord a new song!"'

Some of Virginia's hymns are reproduced and can be listened to here. Many of them were taped in the Fifties as you may notice.
If you wish to use one of the hymns, you may download the sheet music. Please remember to give Virginia credit.
We would love to hear from you in our guestbook.
Stories about the histories of the hymns give you an impression of the background of the music.
