Virginia loved children, and her family. One of her favourite hymns was based on several bible verses, and was sung during at least 2 family weddings. I think this hymn expresses most of all what my mother’s faith was based on: “To live in love is living in God: this understand."

Family memories of Virginia are bound up with music and poetry, at the piano, singing in the kitchen, reading her Bible and taking notes. Sometimes she just had to stop what she was doing and sit down and write.
